Ladies Only Treatments

Please be advised I offer Indian Head Massage to male clients by personal referral only, all other treatments for ladies only.

Cancellation Policy

You are respectfully reminded that cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be charged at the full rate. Arriving late may mean your treatment is shortened, however the full rate will still apply.

Inital Free Consultation

Your first treatment will consist of an initial free consultation (Please allow an additional 15 minutes). I will ask you about your general health, medical history, diet, lifestyle and general well-being. All information is held in the strictest confidence. This will establish if your treatment is right for you and which oils (if any) would be most suitable. If you are currently receiving medical treatment for a particular condition, I may require written clearance from your GP before treating you. Aromatherapy and Indian Head Massage are complementary therapies and are not substitutes for medical treatment.

After Care Advice

After your treatment you should feel very relaxed, calm and have a feeling of well-being.  Occasionally you may experience one or more of the following for up to 48 hours (if any):

Tiredness/ disrupted sleeping pattern

Sore muscles

Headaches

Dizziness or nausea

The need to pass water more frequently

Feeling emotional or tearful

These reactions are perfectly normal and show that toxins are being expelled from the body, thus rebalancing and repairing itself.

It is advisable to consider the following for 24 hours after treatment:

Rest and relax as much as possible

Drink plenty of water or herbal tea

Avoid stimulants such as coffee, tea or cola.

Avoid smoking or drinking alcohol

Avoid heavy meals

This ensures the body has time to heal itself and helps eliminate toxins.

It is also recommended that you avoid sunbathing directly after and aromatherapy massage and avoid bathing or washing the hair for as long as possible to ensure the oils have time to continue working and to nourish and condition the hair.

Lynn's Aroma Room is fully insured for all treatments carried out.

You will be treated with care and respect at all times.

All client information disclosed will remain strictly confidential at all times.

Client modesty will be respected at all times with the use of towels and a changing screen.

Children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

If you are receiving treatment for a medical condition from your GP, hospital or other health practitioner, please inform all parties that you are receiving aromatherapy or indian head massage treatment.

Complementary therapies are not substitutes for medical treatments. Please seek your doctors advice if you have any concerns about illnesses or serious conditions.
